Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Method
 

  1. Brown ground beef in a skillet. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add beef and all other ingredients to a slow cooker. Stir well.
  3. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours. Serve with shredded cheese and sour cream.

Notes

Top with shredded cheese, sour cream, or chopped green onions for extra flavor. You can also add jalapeƱos for a spicier version. This chili freezes well for meal prep.
