Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
  • 8 oz imitation crab meat, drained and shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp white pepper
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • wooden spoon
  • knife and cutting board
  • Oven
  • baking sheet or muffin tin
  • Pastry brush

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Drain crab meat and chop green onions.
  3. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, crab, mozzarella, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, sesame oil, and white pepper until well mixed.
  4. Spoon filling into crescent roll dough cups. Seal edges tightly and place seam-side down. Brush tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with panko breadcrumbs.
  5. Bake 18–20 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm.

Notes

Use real crab meat instead of imitation for an elevated version. You can also air-fry instead of baking at 375°F for 12–14 minutes. Serve warm with sweet chili sauce or soy dipping sauce.
