Fudge Brownie Bread

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup hot fudge sauce (plus more for drizzling)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, whisking well after each. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
  5. Add dry ingredients to wet mixture and stir until just combined.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips and hot fudge sauce until evenly distributed.
  7. Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  9. Cool in pan for 15 minutes, then remove. Drizzle with extra hot fudge before serving.

Notes

For an extra indulgent loaf, drizzle additional hot fudge over the bread before serving. Store covered at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for up to a week. This bread also freezes well for up to 2 months.
