  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • olive oil spray, for cooking

Method

  1. Wash the jalapeños thoroughly and slice them in half lengthwise.
  2. Remove the seeds and membranes from the jalapeños.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until creamy.
  4. Stuff each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  6. Coat the tops of the stuffed jalapeños with breadcrumbs and spray lightly with olive oil.
  7. Arrange the jalapeño poppers in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  8. Air fry for 10–12 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

For extra flavor, add cooked bits or green onions to the filling. Adjust spice level by leaving some seeds inside the jalapeños. Serve with ranch or sour cream dip for a cooling contrast.
